UM, yeah, Karl did it again with the Boy collection. What’s new??
Inspired by Gabrielle Chanel’s attitude and a cartridge bag originally made for hunters. The Boy line debuted last spring and has already amassed a cult following of Chanel-obsessed girls who have a collection of Classic Flaps and 2.55′s in all of the colors of the rainbow.

Karl Lagerfeld suggests this with a new interpretation of boyish charm saying, “Chanel used men’s underwear to make dresses; she had this boyish attitude, in fact it is the very spirit of Chanel. She got it from Boy Capel, the great love of her life, which, incidentally, explains why the new bag is called the Boy Chanel.”
Alongside the 2.55 Reissue and the Classic Flap, the Boy will definitely be another iconic piece. Next season, I’m expecting to see the boy made in tweed, metallic lambskin or caviar. Endless possibilities.
